About the Role as an Internal Sales Executive:
- Location: Office based in Welham Green, Hertfordshire
- Reporting to: Head of Sales
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- Salary: up to £28k (depending on experience) + commission

Overview of the role as an Internal Sales Executive:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of an
Internal Sales Executive to work within a forward-thinking Builders Merchant.
You will be responsible for serving our customers and building strong relationships to generate sales.
You should have good, rounded knowledge of the type of products sold within the construction industry especially within a builder's merchant setting.
Main Responsibilities as an Internal Sales Executive:
- Take incoming sales calls, and emails from customers and set up sales orders
- Raise quotations for customer enquiries
- Liaise with suppliers to source products and coordinate orders and deliveries.
- Update customer information in the database during and after each message or call.
- Work to achieve KPIs as set out by the Sales Manager
- Maintain a high level of repeat business by keeping in touch with customer requirements through calls, messages, and emails. Nurture and build a relationship with the customers to increase AOV and lifetime value.
Qualifications & Skills for the Internal Sales Executive:
- Minimum 1-years’ experience of construction industry sales
- Understanding of industry fundamentals – products, suppliers, measurements, pricing etc
- Customer-facing skills
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite & Ticketing Software
- Sales experience
- Enthusiastic attitude
- Self-motivated
- Good communication skills, communicating within your team, across departments and with customers
